- Brand Info
- One of Tanuki's most anticipated fabrics, the 14.5oz indigo-kakishibu denim blends traditional rope-dyed indigo with a kakishibu tannin dye process to produce a unique amber-indigo hue selvedge denim. Woven from a mix of Australian and U.S. short-staple cottons, the slubby texture brings the vibrant weft yarns to the surface. While most kakishibu dyes yield a muted tan, Tanuki has developed a rich tone reminiscent of persimmon skin. The result is a denim with bold contrast and visual depth. Finished with signature blue contrast stitching, custom hardware, and a branded leather patch.

- One-wash treatment to remove shrinkage
